Mitt Romney Chooses Paul Ryan

(Chicago Tribune) — Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has picked Congressman Paul Ryan as his vice presidential running mate, the Romney campaign confirmed on Saturday.

Despite the left’s attempts to demonize Paul Ryan by depicting him throwing elderly people off a cliff, he is wholly qualified to speak on the economy and the disastrous effects president Obama’s policies have been on it.  More than merely having a vision, Ryan has demonstrated that he can form a viable plan.  And unlike the President, Paul Ryan can actually get a budget to pass the House!

I’m damn near salivating at the prospect of a Ryan-Biden debate! Joey Plugs will be the very definition of an unarmed man in a battle of wits. Just like last time around, the Republican candidate for president has picked a running mate that is more qualified than either of the opposition’s candidates. Will our nation be as stupid this time as it was last?

  2. I’m sorry. I just don’t agree with your opinion of Paul Ryan. I don’t see Christ-likeness in his politics at all. His plan is anything but Christ-like. I am now in the predicament of having to choose between the lessor of these two evils and either choice is horrific for its own various reasons. I really choose third party, Gary Johnson, as an INDEPENDENT voter. Unfortunately, not enough voters vote Independent so we have to make a choice between these two ungodly people, who are both bought and paid for by the greedy people really running the show behind the curtain.

    • Can you be specific? What isn’t Christlike?

But I hope you can recognize that any vote for someone other than Romney is effectively a vote for Obama. And in my opinion he isn’t an option. No one can withstand a purity test. We have to decide our priorities and vote for the better candidate. There is no perfect candidate.

Any Thoughts?
