President Obama had campaigned on higher taxes for the wealthy, and now he may make good on that promise. Politicians like Obama have demonized the wealthy in this country ever since they realized they could get votes for it.
Of course, as taxes for the wealthiest rise, the wealthy will relocate overseas to less discouraging nations. The wealthy individuals and business owners will then be blamed for low employment numbers because they took the jobs overseas. In reality, the government had made it cost prohibitive to do business in America with the American people.
The Liberals view the problem from the wrong angle. They view the deficit as a revenue problem, when in actuality it is a spending problem. There is too much money being spent on unnecessary entitlement programs. For example, say I make $500 per week. Rent is $1,000, utilities are $300, groceries are $200. assuming all the necessities total $1,500 leaving $500 left for discretionary spending or saving. But suppose I smoke cigarettes, 1 pack per day at $5 per pack, totals $150 per month. Suppose spend money on new shoes and clothes every week, $75 per week, totals $300 per month. Add lottery $2 per day, totals $60 per month. Throw in another $100 in miscellaneous extras. Essentially I am spending $110 more than I earn per month. Do I have an income problem or a spending problem?
Of course I could work more and earn more, but the actual problem is spending more than I earn. But Liberal politicians like to pretend the wealthy do not pay their fair share, and if only we could get more money, we could give more away, and it’s nonsense. They already pay more than they should, and nearly half the population contribute nothing. What is their fair share, whats the number? How much money you work for should you be allowed to keep?
Someone should ask Paul Ryan what he thinks.

As I already explained to John Barron, your whole premise is based on insufficient facts. Republicans choose to ignore a host of facts in order to come to the ridiculous conclusion that the rich are overtaxed, or at least taxed equally to the rest of us.
Your whole premise is based on facts without context. It is demonstrably false with a five minute Google search.
If you could provide the proper context that says the wealthy should be paying the overwhelming majority of the tax burden while half the country pays no federal in come taxes, that’d be great.
I don’t remember a discussion about taxes with you, maybe I am forgetful, when did this happen?
