Planned Parenthood Keepin’ It Classy
The fine upstanding pillars of morality Planned Parenthood are celebrating masturbation month. Yes, masturbation month.
The Majority Of Alive Voters Prefer Not The Democrats, But Vote For Them Anyway
64% of Likely U.S. Voters prefer a government with fewer services and lower taxes over one with more services and higher taxes. That’s unchanged from last month and consistent with findings in regular surveys since late 2006. Just 25% prefer a government with more services. Eleven percent (11%) are not sure which size government they prefer.
Now the only question is how do big government politicians keep getting elected? I am inclined to think that too many voters cast their ballot with their hearts rather than their heads. This poll is also consistent with Gallup’s (repeated) findings that the American public is far more conservative than it is liberal:
Overall, 42% of Americans in the Dec. 15-18 poll describe themselves as very conservative or conservative, 19% as very liberal or liberal, and 37% as moderate. Those figures are in line with what Gallup has measured in recent years for ideological self-identification.
Hillary Clinton: It’s Patriotic To Criticize Your Government. Public Schools: Not So Much
Don’t talk about those poll results too loudly North Rowan High School where a teacher told students it’s illegal to speak ill of Dear Leader President Obama. If it wasn’t so sad it would be funny. At one point the teacher says that Obama is, “due the respect that every other president is due” but starting at about 6:05 of the you tube audio of the exchange, the student reminds the teacher that when Bush was president, everybody talked sh*t about him. Well, apparently that was OK with the teacher because “Bush was sh*tty”. This is but one more example of attempted indoctrination. Who remembers the songs of worship?
LGBT Advocates Acknowledge Sexual Orientation Can And Should Change
Despite decades of arguing that sexual orientation is immutable, activists are lobbying for the sexual orientation of DC Comic characters to change from straight to gay. Granted, this is only in the realm of fiction from their perspective (not so in real life), but it doesn’t help their argument now does it.
(Bleedingcool.com) — One question asked at the DC panel today at the Kapow comic convention in London, was about DC co-publisher Dan DiDio’s interview with The Advocate. Specifically over the decision not to change any character’s sexual orientation when relaunching the DC Universe. At the time Dan stated they would introduce new LGBT characters rather than switch orientation, but the question asked why DC would switch race, size, age, all sorts of identifying features, but not orientation.
Surprisingly, Dan stated that they had changed DC’s policy in this regard. And they ae [sic] about to reintroduce a previously existing DC character who was previously straight and now will be “one of our most prominent gay characters.”
As Senior VP Sales Bob Wayne explained, just like the President of the United States, the co-publisher’s policy on this “has evolved.”
I could make the hyperbolic case that it is obvious LGBT activists are not out for acceptance or tolerance, but it is now obvious they wont be satisfied until they bring converts to their side!

As you note, this is the realm of fiction. In suggesting that a character “become” gay, they are not suggesting, I’m sure, that the character be portrayed as having been straight and then deciding to become gay.
In the real world, people realize/accept their sexual orientation gradually sometimes (or they may have been bisexual and just have come to realize that). It does not mean that they’ve “changed” from one team to another as a matter of choice, just that they’ve come to better understand their natural orientation.
In the real world, people are oriented toward all sorts of behaviors that are either sinful or simply culturally objectionable. Some people are lazy. Some are covetous and greedy. Some are oriented toward using the lamest stretches of interpretation to justify their support for that which God considers abominable. Few of these people ever truly change. But some come to understand the difference between their “orientation” and righteous behavior and seek to manifest the latter while keeping the former at bay with God’s help. It’s always a struggle, and sometimes backsliding occurs. Very often, in fact. But they truly understand their “orientation” and understand it properly. They understand that their “orientation” is not an excuse to pretend the behavior that is based on that orientation is acceptable.
