Texas Sen. Wendy Davis spent about 13 hours filibustering a bill which would prohibit elective abortion after 20 weeks and hold abortion facilities accountable for meeting otherwise basic health and safety standards. In that same period of time, 1,796 babies lost their lives at the hands of doctors commissioned by their mothers.
Is this something to be proud of?
I’ll bet Obama is very proud of her!
There is nothing to be proud of at all. I for the life of me can not understand how a bill that would require abortion facilities to meet basic safety standards is viewed as a bad thing…and an attack on women for that matter.
