John Hawkins from Right Wing News posted a list of 20 issues which are considered too politically incorrect to discuss openly in America anymore.
(Number 4) — As often as not in America, the people claiming to be “victims” are the real bullies and they don’t deserve anyone’s sympathy.
The example which comes immediately to my mind is Dan Savage. This is a man who vociferously decries bullying, well, bullying certain people. He has made a name for himself bullying individuals and groups who disagree with his version what is moral and immoral. For example, he has wished cancer and death on his targets all while he laments gay and lesbian youth being singled out for their sexuality as victims of bullying and hate crime.
Most bullying which comes from “victims” is done in the name of tolerance and diversity. On the one hand they rightly say everyone should be treated with respect. But then on the other they treat their detractors with disdain and mockery. But you see, it’s OK because intolerance is permissible when the targets are on the political and religious right.
