Not that the presence of snow during winter is any indication that man-made global warming is a farce — there’s plenty of science which indicates that. However, the irony is excellent.
(Politico) — The snowquester has claimed yet another casualty: Wednesday’s House hearing on global warming.
The House Science, Space and Technology Committee announced early Wednesday that it’s postponing its environmental subcommittee’s scheduled 10 a.m. hearing on the state of the science behind climate change. As a reason, it cited “weather.”
This happened once before in 2008 when International Conference on Global Warming cancelled its Oslo event.
I’m sure the irony of that picture escapes the posers.
Yes, it’s amusing to see people shivering in the snow, apparently claiming the world is turning into a fireball.
All that aside, anthropogenic climate change has long attained overwhelming scientific consensus. It’s not up for debate among informed people. Only small cultural pockets think that the data is inconclusive.

Even though there’s been no warming for more than a decade and climate scientists have been caught manipulating data? Hmm.
Interesting post but sort of irrelevant to the issue of global warming. By the way, I’m pretty cold where I am in California.
My advice to you: talk to people in Alaska and ask them what they think. I am curious to know what you find out.
None of which proves anything, but at least it provides some food for thought.
