Some on the pro-abortion choice will try to correlate the states with the highest teen birth rates to the fact that they are by and large the states with the most religious population. This is meant, I presume, to show some double-standard when it comes to the “religious-right” and their ideas about morality.
Don’t think I haven’t noticed that 9 of the top 10 states are of a Democrat bent. Perhaps the reason there are so many teen births in what are generally religious minded states is because they are less willing to take their children’s lives through abortion.
